Belgian newspaper De Standaard talks about TMB

16.10.2013, Brussels, Belgium – The Belgian daily newspaper De Standaard has published an article entitled ‘Ooggetuige – De lange weg van een loon in Congo’ (Eyewitness – The long road of salaries in the Congo).

The article takes a look at an initiative of the DRC government to implement the payment of civil servant salaries via the banking systems, and highlights the challenges of the project, in particular in remote areas of the country. In that context, Kris Pannecoucke notes the role of TMB and the efforts made by the bank to make this possible.
