‘Fleuve Congo River’ Exhibition at Le Monde des Flamboyants

23.03.2018, Kinshasa, DRC – TMB is pleased to invite you to our new exhibition titled ‘Fleuve Congo River’ which is being held at Le Monde des Flamboyants from Friday 23 March 2018 to Friday 27 April 2018. The official opening of the exhibition will be held on 23 March, at 6.00 pm.

Le Monde des Flamboyant is the permanent cultural centre of TMB, housed at its regional headquarters in Kinshasa.

TMB is delighted to host this art exhibition of photographical works by Belgian artist Kris Pannecoucke, published in his latest book ‘Fleuve Congo River’.

Born in 1969 in Kinshasa, Kris Pannecoucke travelled throughout the Congo as a freelance photographer on assignments for magazines, NGO’s and corporate clients. His work has been widely published, most notably in National Geographic, l’Obs, and GEO.

Passionate about the River Congo, Kris has undertaken numerous journeys on it during the years and has gathered his most beautiful photographs in the book ‘River Congo River’, published in 2017 with the support of TMB.

The exhibition is free and open to all members of the public, Monday to Friday, from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and on Saturday, from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm.
