Le Monde des Flamboyants presents a new exhibition: ´Nshole ­‒ A chacun sa place`

18.10.2013, Kinshasa, DRC – The Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles and Le Monde des Flamboyant are pleased to invite you to a fascinating new exhibition “Nshole – A chacun sa place” (Nshole – A place to each) to be held from Saturday 19 October to Friday 15 November, at “Le Monde des Flamboyants”.

The cultural centre of the Wallonia-Brussels Delegation in Kinshasa aims to promote development of synergies between Congolese and French-speaking Belgian cultural operators and to support cultural policies in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Wallonia-Brussels Centre assists Congolese artists in their seeking for visibility and recognition, both at national and international levels.

Le Monde des Flamboyant is the permanent cultural centre of TMB, created at its regional headquarters in Kinshasa. The cultural centre organises exhibitions by artists, painters, sculptors, photographers and cultural events. In doing so TMB opens its door to Congolese artists to express their talent and invites you to discover them. For TMB the centre allows the Bank to pay tribute to the richness and diversity of the Congolese arts scene and to provide a professional stage for artists to display their work.

The Wallonia-Brussels Centre and le Monde des Flamboyant together welcome the new collection of pictorial works of the artist Nshole.

Nshole is a talented and internationally recognized artist. He mixes oil painting with collages of traditional objects. He handles perfectly the magic of forms and signs together with wondrous colours. His works reflect the philosophical depth of the author and his attachment to his roots. His style is unconventional, his pallet is colored and bright, and his temerity is convincing.

The exhibition is free and open to all members of the public, from Monday to Friday, from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and on Saturday, from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm.
