Screening of the Film ‘Congo, les berges d’un fleuve’ supported by TMB
1.02.2017, Kinshasa, DRC – TMB is proud to have sponsored the documentary ‘Congo, les berges d’un fleuve’ (Congo, the banks of a river), directed by Philippe Lamair and produced by Clair-obscur.
We are delighted to announce the screening of this exciting documentary in Kinshasa and Goma. TMB is organising a screening on Friday 3 February at 6.00 pm, at Le Monde des Flamboyants, the cultural centre of TMB, housed at its regional headquarters in Kinshasa. The documentary will also be screened on Thursday, 9 February, at Lac Kivu Lodge, in Goma.
The movie takes us from Kisangani, in the heart of Congo, to Muanda, on the Atlantic coast, a journey of some 2,000 km along the River Congo, the second longest river in Africa. This documentary shows how the development of human activities, the creation of new cities and technological developments have transformed daily life along the banks of rivers. Even if nature is always present, fauna and flora are however inexorably regressing as a result of human activities and a growing population.
TMB is happy to invite clients, partners and staff to join the screenings which will be followed by a cocktail.
