Screening of the Film ‘Kinshasa Now’ supported by TMB

27.05.2021, Kinshasa, DRC – TMB is proud to have sponsored the interactive virtual reality film ‘Kinshasa Now’, directed by Marc-Henri Wajnberg and produced by Wajnbrosse Productions.

We are delighted to announce the screening of this exciting film in Kinshasa on Thursday 27 May at 5.00 pm, at Le Monde des Flamboyants, the permanent cultural centre of TMB, housed at its regional headquarters in Kinshasa. This screening is an African premiere before a tour across the DRC.

The film Kinshasa Now, shot in virtual reality, is an experience where the viewer is immersed, thanks to a 360° VR headset, in the middle of the streets of Kinshasa while discovering the daily life of a street child. Mika, 14 years old, is chased out of his home and finds himself on the streets of Kinshasa. As the story unfolds, choices are proposed and the viewer decides what happens next. The film was awarded at numerous international festivals.
