TMB – A Strong Partner to Civil Society

Trust Merchant Bank supports various civil society initiatives in the Congo including in the areas of art, education, sport, ecology, and health care. TMB is committed to partnering with strong and reliable local partners.

In Kinshasa alone this month we were delighted to have already supported the following events:

• Village de la Femme (Women’s Village) – TMB sponsored the 10th Women’s Village on 9 and 10 March at the Pullman, Kinshasa. With the theme “Dynasty”, the event offered a varied programme of sales, exhibitions and entertainment.
• Kin Accueil – As a loyal supporter of Kin Acceuil association, TMB supported their 16th anniversary celebration. To mark the occasion and as part of Women’s Rights Month, a business lunch was organised on 13 March at the Pullman Hotel, Kinshasa.
• First Lego League – The Bank was an official sponsor of this first robotics competition in the DRC, held on 16 March at the Texaf Bilembo Cultural Centre in Kinshasa. Aimed at pupils aged 7 to 17, the competition focused on art and creativity under the theme “Masterpiece – Chef d’oeuvre”.
