TMB awarded Best Bank in DRC by EMEA Finance for a record tenth consecutive year

7.12.2020, Lubumbashi, DRC – Trust Merchant Bank has been recognised for the tenth consecutive year as the “Best Bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo” by EMEA Finance.

The conferring judges acknowledged TMB’s success in being the first commercial bank in the DR Congo to launch leasing products with the Bank expanding its alternative financing solutions for SME and corporate clients. The judges also recognised TMB’s far-reaching and comprehensive response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Bank maintaining a consistent and continuous delivery of service at all times during the pandemic, including during periods of localised and national lockdowns. This success is in no small part thanks to the accessibility and flexibility provided by PEPELE Mobile, TMB’s innovative mobile banking solution.
