TMB awarded Best Bank in DRC by EMEA Finance for the fourth consecutive year
7.11.2014, Kinshasa, DRC – Trust Merchant Bank has won EMEA Finance’s “Best Bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo” award for the fourth consecutive year. TMB will officially receive the award on Thursday 4 December, in London, at the African Banking Awards 2014 ceremony.
In recognising TMB’ ongoing success, EMEA Finance noted that in less than 10 years TMB has “overcome intense local competition to assert itself as the country’s preferred financial firm”. The awarding judges further noted that TMB is “the only bank to operate in every major city and province of the country”, concluding that TMB’s successful growth strategy and pace of expansion was a track record to be proud of.
Commenting on the win, David McEvoy, Head of Institutional Relations at TMB, congratulated the entire TMB team on the success and thanked the Bank’s client base for their continued loyalty and custom.
TMB is especially proud to receive this award in 2014 as the win coincides with the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Bank.
