TMB is the Bank of the Year in the DRC for the second consecutive year

29.11.2013, London, UK – Trust Merchant Bank (TMB) is proud to announce that it has won, for the second consecutive year, the prestigious Bank of the Year 2013 award from The Banker magazine.

The award was presented on 28 November 2013 in London, at a ceremony organised by The Banker magazine, part of the prestigious Financial Times family. The Bank of the Year award is given each year to a single bank in each of almost 150 countries around the world. TMB is the Bank of the Year 2013 in the DRC.

The Banker highlighted TMB’s commitment to the DRC, our proven capacity in answering the Congo’s growing banking needs. Furthermore The Banker noted our success in expanding our branch network thus supporting financial inclusion in communities where previously it was limited.

Also this year, the magazine EMEA Finance awarded TMB Best Bank in the DRC 2013. This is the third consecutive year the Bank has won the award which will be officially presented to TMB in London on 11 December at the African Banking Awards 2013 ceremony.
