TMB is the first bank to open in Gbadolite

20.08.2016, Gbadolite, DRC – TMB continues to lead the campaign for financial inclusion in the Congo with the opening of a new branch in the city of Gbadolite.

Our new TMB branch is the first bank branch in the entire province of North-Ubangi, of which Gbadolite is the capital city.

With ninety branches across the Congo, and numerous agency bank outlets, TMB boasts by far the largest network in the country.

Gbadolite is a city of some 120,000 located close to the DRC border with Central African Republic. Our new branch in Gbadolite is the very first bank branch in the entire city – up until now the closest bank outlet available to the community was another TMB branch, located in Gemena, over 200km south west of the city.

Our investment in the city is a further demonstration of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that all Congolese can access professional, fairly priced banking services. We are delighted to also be able to offer our highly innovative mobile banking service Pepele Mobile to the population of Gbadolite.
