TMB Participating at the Arrupe Conference on Mobile Business in Lubumbashi

22.02.2017, Lubumbashi, DRC – TMB is participating at the Arrupe Conference on Mobile Business on 25 February, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm, in Lubumbashi.

The conference, organised by the Arrupe Centre for Reseach and Training (CARF) and with the theme of “Mobile Business in DRC – Challenges & Opportunities”, aims to bring a fresh perspective to the subject of mobile business in the DRC and the opportunities offered by this sector. The conference is also intended to be a platform for presenting local innovative mobile products and initiatives.

The conference targets an audience of telecom and banking actors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, students, administrative and political bodies.

Being the major actor in mobile banking in Congo, TMB is pleased to support the Arrupe conference.

PEPELE Mobile is TMB’s mobile banking service that allows any mobile phone user to easily access banking services on their phone.

Yannick Mbiya Ngandu, Executive Director with TMB, is attending the conference and will participate in the forum presenting TMB’s PEPELE Mobile service, including its new Visa debit card that will be launched in the very near future.
