The school currently welcomes 32 disadvantaged children from the commune of Kintambo, in Kinshasa. The project’s first intake are already entering primary school.

As part of their enrolment, each enrolled child receives an annual medical examination. Everyone gets a daily balanced menu, with two meals, lunch, and snack. Clothes are distributed to families. In addition, various activities are organised including a Christmas gift distribution project, a carnival party, dance classes, and more.

In the long-term the project is aiming to open a school for children aged up to 12 years, with three classrooms: 3-6 years, 6-9 years, and 9-12 years. A second objective of the project is to launch adult literacy classes for parents of the school’s children.
