TMB Sponsors ´Alexia Waku ­‒ Black Magic Woman` show in Brussels

17.10.2012, Brussels, Belgium – TMB is delighted to co-sponsor a show introducing Alexia Waku singing ‘Black Magic Woman’. TMB, through its Brussels Representative Office, is inviting guests to the show that will be held at the Cultural and Congress Centre of Woluwe-Saint- Pierre, in Brussels, on Thursday, October 17, 2013.

TMB promotes a long-term commitment to the DRC. Our commitment to investing in our community emphasises partnering with those who in particular are focused on the long-term well-being of the population, who prioritise in investing in rural areas of the country and who are committed to environmentally and socially sustainable solutions to the needs of the Congo.

TMB is proud to support COMEQUI. In the east of the country, COMEQUI is providing concrete and lasting support to men and women who are not only facing social and economic difficulties, but are also constantly suffering the consequences of conflict and war in the region.

COMEQUI ASBL, the organizer of this event, aims to contribute to sustainable development in the African Great Lakes’ region. It has been working to give farmers in the region the means to take concrete and effective action towards sustainable development, in order to increase their revenues and to be able to meet the needs of their families (such as the education of children and medical treatment). In particular COMEQUI supports farmers to achieve fair trade and organic certification for their produce and also works to encourage the creation of cooperatives in the region.
