TMB Sponsors COMEQUI-Out of Congo Evening

19.11.2018, Brussels, Belgium – TMB, through its Brussels Representative Office, is inviting guests to the COMEQUI – Out of Congo Evening at Autoworld Cinquantenaire, in Brussels, on Tuesday 20 November, from 6.45 pm.

We are delighted to support COMEQUI, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary: 10 years accompanying Minova coffee farmers and their communities, 10 years of projects.

The evening is organised by COMEQUI ASBL, a not for profit organisation that aims to contribute to sustainable development in the African Great Lakes’ region. Since 2008 COMEQUI has been supporting farmers in their efforts to achieve sustainable development in the region, thereby enabling them to increase their incomes and support their families.

TMB is a long-time partner of COMEQUI, which has a specific focus on supporting farmers to achieve fair trade and organic certification for their produce.

Each year our Bank steps in to support this quality event organised by COMEQUI in order to raise funds for their projects in the African Great Lakes.

The evening will highlight the Kivu province through singing, dance, music, comedy, and more. The comedian Kody, COMEQUI ambassador, will be present, as well as the singer Lokua Kanza, and the counter-tenor Serge Kakudji, accompanied by his musicians. During the cocktail, Sapology2Design will present a fashion show.
