TMB Sponsors ´Homage to Brel` Recital in Brussels

23.11.2012, Brussels, Belgium – TMB’s Brussels Representative Office is delighted to co-sponsor a recital held in honor of Jacques Brel. Our Representative Office, as sponsor to this event, was one of a number of guests at the recital that was held at the Aula Magna in Louvain-La-Neuve, Friday 23 November, 2012.

TMB supports various civil society initiatives in the DRC including in the areas of art, education, ecology, and health care. Our commitment to investing in our community emphasises working with partners who in particular are focused on investing in rural areas.

TMB is proud to support COMEQUI ASBL, the organizer of this event. The objective of the Belgian organisation is to give farmers of the African Great Lakes’ region (the DR Congo) the means to take concrete and effective action towards sustainable development, in order to increase their revenues and to be able to meet the needs of their families (such as the education of children and medical treatment). COMEQUI supports farmers to achieve fair trade and organic certification for their produce and also works to encourage the creation of cooperatives in the region.
