TMB sponsors NBA star Bismack Biyombo’s Basketball Tour

3.08.2018, Lubumbashi, DRC – Bismack Biyombo, the Congolese NBA player, is in Congo once again this summer to take part in the Bismack Biyombo Basketball Tour.

Mindful of the immense importance of sport and positive role models in the development and education of young people and civil society, TMB is delighted to support the basketball tour again this year.

Almost 26 years old, Bismack Biyombo Sumba is a Congolese professional basketball player born in Lubumbashi who has been enjoying great success in the NBA. Bismack returned to play with the Charlotte Hornets in 2018, having previously also played with Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors.

The Bismack Biyombo Basketball Training Camps have been running since 2013. This year tournaments are taking place in Lubumbashi and Kinshasa, in addition to a basketball camp in Goma.

We are happy to welcome all basketball lovers interested in attending the Bismack Biyombo Basketball Tour on 5 and 6 August in Lubumbashi, on 7 and 8 August in Kinshasa, and to the camp taking place on 10 and 11 August in Goma.

10 August at 9.00 am – Inauguration of the ‘Bismack Biyombo Stadium’ – KIS School
10 & 11 August –Giants of Africa Basketball Camp – Bismack Biyombo Stadium
