TMB Supporting Congo TechDays 2017 in Kinshasa

7.07.2017, Lubumbashi, DRC – TMB is sponsoring and participating at the first edition of the digital fair, Congo TechDays 2017, which is being held on 7 and 8 July, at the Bâtiment du 30 juin, in Lubumbashi.

The fair brings together in a single place, during two days, the major digital actors present in the DRC, with the objective of accompanying SMEs and various enterprises in their digital transition by providing concrete solutions and answer to their needs. Digital transformation is the core issue of the event. The fair also aims to promote digital innovations in Central Africa.

The programme includes twenty conferences and workshops. The showroom will host expositions, with 40 exhibitors from different sectors present. The event also includes a ‘Geek party’, a hackathon (an event in which a large number of people meet to engage in collaborative computer programming), and a CTD Awards event where the most impactful digital innovations will be recognised.

On Saturday 8 July, Yannick Mbiya Ngandu, Executive Director at TMB, will participate in a panel discussion titled ‘M-payment: the bank facing mobile revolution’, during which he will introduce PEPELE Mobile, TMB’s mobile banking service.

Entrance to the fair is free and access to the conferences is open, without prior registration.
